Summary

May the text be with you…

Seraphina Lopez is not your typical airy-fairy astrology fanatic。 First and foremost, she’s a businesswoman who happens to have a fascination with the stars。 Her lifestyle app, “Live for Your Star Sign” is blowing up, and when she’s asked to be a guest on New York’s most watched Morning Show, she knows the exposure will launch her app into the stratosphere。

Astrophysicist Ben Williams just landed his dream job at NASA’s Goddard Institute, Not only is he heading a multi-disciplinary team in search of habitable exo-planets, he’s also been tapped to be the spokesman for the project。 While he’d much rather be crunching the numbers to pinpoint the location of Earth II, he also has to sell the concept to the American public。

When Seraphina and Ben meet on the set of the Morning Show, sparks fly! Sera is there to show viewers how to dress for their star sign。 Ben is there in the name of science。 Their explosive chemistry sets records for the network’s viewing audience。 As such they’re asked to host a regular segment--together。

Ben and Sera hate each other so much, they resort to texting instead of talking when they’re off air (and sometimes on)。 Yet somewhere in the haze of dislike, they start to realize they have more in common than they thought possible。 Is love written in the stars or will it burn up on impact?

Find out in the Text Wars, the third installment of the deliciously funny and romantic Accidentally in Love series。

You’ll love the characters and their text war that they are engaging in even when they are in the studio。 They put a smile on your face because of their push and pull chemistry。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

Funny and romanticThere are quite a few laugh out loud moments in TEXT WARS: MAY THE TEXT BE WITH YOU featuring NASA astrophysicist Ben and astrologist Serafina。 Total respect for the Rocky and Bullwinkle inspired line, by the way。While the foundation of the relationship wasn’t based on texting, it’s survival was。 Serafina is refreshing, sassy, independent and most importantly, knows her worth。 Ben is intelligent, introverted, and refreshingly mild mannered except when it comes to astrology。If y Funny and romanticThere are quite a few laugh out loud moments in TEXT WARS: MAY THE TEXT BE WITH YOU featuring NASA astrophysicist Ben and astrologist Serafina。 Total respect for the Rocky and Bullwinkle inspired line, by the way。While the foundation of the relationship wasn’t based on texting, it’s survival was。 Serafina is refreshing, sassy, independent and most importantly, knows her worth。 Ben is intelligent, introverted, and refreshingly mild mannered except when it comes to astrology。If you like honest, funny and well written romantic comedy Medtronic, you will love this book。 。。。more

Although there was not as much texting in this one as the rest and form the beginning they know who each other was this might be the best one so far in this series。 the build up to the first kiss was amazing。 Also love the realist dreams, so funny。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

Love is written in the stars; or maybe its just hydrogen and helium。 But whatever the case, for  astrologist Serafina Lopez and astrophysicist Dr。 Ben Williams, there's definitely a chemical reaction whenever they are near each other。 After a case of mistaken identity on a popular morning show, polar opposites Serafina and Ben are thrust into the spotlight together。 He's a man of science with ideals grounded in science, and she's a savvy business woman with her head up in the clouds--or stars ra Love is written in the stars; or maybe its just hydrogen and helium。 But whatever the case, for  astrologist Serafina Lopez and astrophysicist Dr。 Ben Williams, there's definitely a chemical reaction whenever they are near each other。 After a case of mistaken identity on a popular morning show, polar opposites Serafina and Ben are thrust into the spotlight together。 He's a man of science with ideals grounded in science, and she's a savvy business woman with her head up in the clouds--or stars rather。 Can these two ever make a relationship work? Text wars is a cute contemporary rom com that is the perfect mix of sweet romance and comedy。 As a fan of the genre, I enjoyed the banter between the two main characters and looked forward to their interactions。 I also think the authors did a good job with the switching POVs, giving Sera and Ben unique voices。 While Text Wars was cute and enjoyable, there were some aspects that detracted from the story。 I found both characters to be very juvenile at times, and I'm not sure if that was intentionally done by the authors or if this was a stylistic choice in the writing。 At times it was hard to tell that these were adults and not teenagers。 I also found myself wondering if either of the authors are Latinix。 There was a word used in Spanish that I have never heard used in that way--corazoncita。 While adding "ita" to the ends of names and titles (like abuelita) is common that was just odd because corazon is masculine and therefore would be said as "corazoncito。" It made me wonder about the authenticity of the main character's Latin roots。 Overall, Text Wars was a cute, quick read and I give it 3。5 stars。 I received a copy of this book from Hidden Gems for an honest ARC review。 。。。more

Good cute and worth the readI've read all the books in this series so far。 They are nice and sweet perfect beachy fluff。 The humor is cute but not laugh out loud。 The love scenes are warm but not steamy。 The editing and pacing are nice。 The characters are fun but the "big drama" that creates the breakup just makes you want to smack them both for how easily it could have been avoided or reconciled。 I have a lot of books/series on my TBR list and this one was NOT a waste of my time。 It's perfect f Good cute and worth the readI've read all the books in this series so far。 They are nice and sweet perfect beachy fluff。 The humor is cute but not laugh out loud。 The love scenes are warm but not steamy。 The editing and pacing are nice。 The characters are fun but the "big drama" that creates the breakup just makes you want to smack them both for how easily it could have been avoided or reconciled。 I have a lot of books/series on my TBR list and this one was NOT a waste of my time。 It's perfect for when you're in the mood for a lighthearted romance that doesn't require a lot of thinking。 I will definitely be watching for the next one, too。 。。。more

Text Wars left me laughing out loud at some of the crazy antics between Serafina and Ben - astrologist extraordinaire vs astrophysicist。 There are plenty of sparks flying between these two as one misunderstanding leads to some embarrassing and comical scenarios。 This was a feel-good story despite some bumpy rides along the way。 Enjoyed seeing more of Charley and Zay as well。 Looking forward to what comes next in this series。
